This is a draft of a screenplay in the works, for a movie about the personal experiences of a people from the first century AD. These are some personalized stories of a people who faced the greatest decisions of all time. What they might have experienced, why they might have done what they did, how they may have resolved the questions of their day, and the controversies that divided them. They are a people no different than today, except for their social and religious context. Their feelings, motives, causes, worries and desperation are the same. The questions they faced were different - and important - and would leave answers or scars that would last millennia.
This story is about the human truths underlying the fundamental world views and religious perspectives we live with today.
