Wedding Atonement

A great wedding full of joy and love.  We are thrilled and relieved that the couple is finally enjoying the fruits of their promise to each other.

Music plays.  Dancers perform and create an exotic and festive atmosphere.  Miriam enters the rear of the area, elegant and outfitted to a dramatic and lovely level.  She walks~dances with grace and style.  She twirls, ducks, bobs, and swirls a path through the girls as they part lovingly to frame her entrance.  Like her deft needle weaving a lovely pattern on a fabric, she weaves a mysterious and lovely path toward her beloved.  As she is presented at the dais, Yaacov joins her, lovingly and carefully he leads her through some classic dance moves.  He is self confident, graceful, and yet not a dancer in that he does not improvise or move in a complicated or long dance.  He is honored and conveys that to his sweetest joy - Miriam.

On the dais, the couple is plied with food and drink.  Miriam is cautious with the drink, and manages to moderate her alcohol.  Yaacov is unaware of the constant refills to his cup; he becomes inebriated, with little experience in such a state of mind.  He is pleasant, less inhibited, and very loving.

He toasts his beloved Miriam, and counts her virtues.  Miriam blushes, and finds it difficult to hear these compliments.  She is somewhat troubled, but dismisses this as her new husband joins her at their table.  They steal a kiss, as public affection is not part of their custom.
